It's good for the immune system!

A cold plunge that is…but in the spirit of getting away from technology for an hour, I’ve also spent time in a hot tub for as many days.

A family member asked me what my typical routine is at home. I actually struggled to answer that question based on my current work and lifestyle. Perhaps that is part of being a portfolio person. A bit of a routine is good for us I think, particularly if you’re committed to a project. To that end, in the final leg of this particular journey I have:

Managed to get a swim in every morning (not too early!)

Gone for a plunge and spent time in the hot tub - both good for clearing the head

Spent 1-2 hours on 'work'

Been walking every afternoon - the best way to see the City! The peak day for this we hit >24K steps doing the Golden Gate promenade and Bay Trail

Every evening, included awesome, largely 'clean' food and for me wine and the odd cocktail

Back in the UK, I'm not sure that I'll have this same routine, but I have so far:

Woken up at 5am for three days on the trot (jetlag?) and indulged in 'deep work' for a few hours

Walked somewhere on each of the days - actually, maybe not Day 2

Indulged in what I call reset food - Ghar ka khanna or freshly cooked meals with produce from the garden

Blessed to have the best of many world and excited to see what energy this month brings with it.

Until next time....
