I recently spent two weeks at a friend's flat to look after their cat while they were on holiday, following a shorter trial period last month for all involved, including the cat. Another friend jokingly suggested this could be a career for me, but it aligns with my focus on how environments affect creativity, reflection, and work. After discussing this with friends, opportunities like this began to arise.
During this time, I took one day off work, balancing working from the flat with a long commute, so it wasn't quite a 'staycation'. The cat was low maintenance and affectionate, and I managed to get a selfie and a goodbye 'cat kiss' before leaving.

I'm exploring living in tune with my cycle, a challenge in Western society. This time away allowed me to connect with myself and practice discipline over eating and consumption. As a brunch enthusiast, I also found plenty of places to try in the area.

Scarlett Coffee Roasters - next to no social media presence. I think this is intentional - but amazing (yes, I've been 3x!)
That will do for now....my next stint of environmental experimenting us just around the corner...let's see what it holds!
